Weather and News Info Widget 1.6.5

The main purpose of this widget is to collect and display precise information regarding battery status and weather conditions. Additionally, users can set up preferred news feeds, receive visual alerts for upcoming calendar events, and view details about the current time zone relative to their home zone.

The information provided for each function is as follows:

Battery:

• Precise visual representation of the battery charge level
• Status of charging/discharging and power source (AC or USB)

Weather:

• Visual display of current weather conditions
• Textual description of the current weather status
• Humidity level
• Wind speed measurement

Calendar:

• li>Current month and date indication
• Color-coded alerts for upcoming events (green: within 24 hours, yellow: within 8 hours, red: within 2 hours)

News:

• Rss lettering changes color to indicate updated news feeds since the last reading

Tapping on the central panel will open an activity with three tabs:

1. Weather: Displaying location-specific weather data, current conditions, and links to a five-day forecast
2. Tap on a forecast icon to view weather information for a specific day. To return to current conditions, simply tap on the detailed data panel.
3. News Feeds: Comprises a list of all news items from combined feeds. Use the select button to view news from specific feeds.
4. Calendar: Shows the current date, week number, and list of upcoming events. Additionally, pressing the menu button on your android phone within this activity will open a menu with two options:
   • Settings: Detailed below.
   • Refresh: Manually update news feeds and weather data.

   The Refresh function initiates updates for news feeds and weather conditions. Progress dialog will appear showing update status. Continuing in the background, updates are instant with no notification upon completion.
   
   The Settings option opens another activity with four tabs:

   1. General Tab:
      • Home Time Zone setting allows for customization.</il>
      • Data refresh intervals can be set either automatically or manually.</il>

      - Personalize news feed management through cached data usage or adding new feeds.
